Can't sign in to your Google Account

If you can't sign in to your Google Account in Gmail, Google Drive, Google Play, or elsewhere, select the issue that most closely applies to you. Follow the instructions for help getting back in to your account.(Third Party Gmail customer service phone number *866*324-3042)

Select the issue:You know your username and password, but you can't sign in.
Why can't you sign in?You get an error message.
Choose the type of error message you're getting.
  1. Make sure that:
    • There isn't a typo in your username or password.
    • You've entered your full email address. For example, "username@gmail.com" instead of "username@gmail."
    • Caps lock is turned off.
    • Your keyboard is in the right language.
  2. Refresh your browser and try signing in again.
  3. If you're still getting the error message, go to the Account support page.
  4. Follow the instructions. You'll be asked some questions to confirm it's your account. Answer as best you can.
  5. Look for an email from Google with the subject "Google Password Assistance."
    • If you use Gmail: Check the inbox of the alternate email address you provided for your account.
    • If you don't use Gmail: Check the inbox of the email address you use to sign in to your Google Account.
  6. To reset your password, click or tap the link in the email. Choose a strong password that you haven't already used with this account. Learn how to create a strong password.
  7. Sign in to your account with your new password.

If you don't see the email from Google

  1. Check your spam or bulk mail folder.
  2. If the email isn't there, add "accounts-support@google.com" and "accounts-support-ara@google.com" to your address book, then request another email on the Account support page.
  3. If you don't get the email within 20 minutes, contact your email provider.
Turn on cookies, then try signing in again.
If you're still getting an error message, here are some possible solutions. Try each one, then try signing in.

Why?

  2. If you believe you didn't violate any of these terms, go to Step 2.
