Your Google Account password is the same password you use for other
Google products, like Gmail and YouTube. If you forgot your password and
would like to reset it or would like to change your password for
security reasons, please follow the steps below.
Reset your password
- Go to the Account support page.
- Follow the instructions. You'll be asked some questions to confirm it's your account. Answer as best you can.
- Reset your password. Choose a strong password that you haven't already used with this account. Learn how to create a strong password.
I didn't get a password recovery email
- Check your Spam or Bulk Mail folders
- Add account-recovery-noreply@google.com to your address book.
- Request another email.
- Check all email addresses you might've used to sign up or sign in to your account.
You can change your Google Account password at any time.
- Sign in to My Account.
- In the "Sign-in & security" section, select Signing in to Google.
- Choose Password.
- Enter your new password information, then select Change Password.
Google Account passwords must be at least 8 characters long. They can include:

- Uppercase and lowercase letters. Passwords are case-sensitive, so "G" is different from "g."
- Numbers
- These symbols: ! " # $ % & ‘ ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \ ] ^ { | } ~
- Spaces: You can't use a space at the beginning or end of your password, but spaces inside the password are fine.
